Platinum rings in UK

Prior to 1975, there was no requirement for an item of jewellery containing platinum to be hallmarked and no common standard regarding purity. Therefore, older pieces of jewellery may simply have a 'plat', 'pt' or 'platinum' markngs. These pieces will need to be tested by us to determine the platinum content.
There are now four accepted levels of purity for platinum, as shown in the table on the right.
Typical items we purchase that containin platinum include:
    Platinum Purity
  • Wedding, engagement and eternity rings
  • platinum watches
  • platinum coins and bullion
  • industrial and scientific items such as platinum crucibles & thermocouples.
We accept all purities of platinum. Our platinum price is the same for hallmarked and non-hallmarked items. Testing is usually completed on the day of receipt and for customers who elect to have payment into their bank account, funds are transferred by 5pm on the same day.
Here are the minimum scrap platinum prices that you'll get if you register your claim today:
Purity £ / Gram £ / Penny Weight £ / Ounce £ / Troy Ounce
850 Platinum £24.05 £37.40 £681.82 £748.03

Norway education system

 Norway a Unique study Experience:
Most Norwegian institutions have various bilateral agreements with foreign institutions of higher education. These agreements are usually designed for the mutual exchange of students, researchers and teachers. However, there are national programmes that offer scholarships and other types of funding for international students wishing to study in Norway. Certain restrictions and prerequisites apply for all these programmes. In addition, there are various stipends available offered by private and non-profit organisations.
Semester grants
The semester grants give students an opportunity for fieldwork at a higher education institution in Norway. The grants are awarded for a one to three months stay within the Norwegian semester periods, and are primarily awarded to students who have chosen a Norwegian topic for their Bachelor, Master or PhD. The grant covers accommodation, board, local transport and pocket money. Application deadlines: 15 March / 15 octomber
Erasmus
The Erasmus programme offers students from EU/EEA-countries enrolled at European higher education insitutions the possibility to study abroad as a part of their degree to supplement their studies. Exchanges last between 3 and 12 months. For more information contact your home university or the national agency of your country. To learn more about the Erasmus-programme and find out if you are eligible to apply, please visit the website of the European Commission.
Quota Scheme
The Norwegian government provides scholarships for students from developing countries and countries in Eastern Europe and Central Asia through the Quota Scheme. The objective of the scheme is to promote the internationalisation of higher education. Currently, the scheme provides full scholarships for a total of 1 100 students, of which 800 are from developing countries and 300 from Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Each year universities and university colleges in Norway are allocated a certain number of quota students. The scheme normally includes courses taught in English at Masters and Ph.D. level, in addition to certain professional degrees. In order to find out which courses are available under the scheme, please contact the institutions directly
The Norwegian State Educational Loan Fund
The Norwegian State Educational Loan Fund ("LĂ„nekassen") is primarily directed towards Norwegian citizens. However, some foreign citizens may be eligible for support. If you are a foreign citizen, your right to financial support from the Loan Fund depends on your connection to Norway, which country you come from and on what grounds you have a residence permit. Support from the Norwegian State Educational Loan Fund consists of a loan and a grant that will cover the costs of studying in Norway. You will only have to repay the loan. If you have children with a residence permit who live together with you in Norway, you may be eligible for further support. If you work while you are a student, the support may be reduced. You need admission to a Norwegian educational institution in order to apply for financial support and you need a residence permit before any support is paid out.

The most popular place to study physiotherapy in the UK

Welcome to the Division of Physiotherapy:

Physiotherapy is not only one of the most popular courses at Nottingham, but Nottingham is possibly the most popular place to study physiotherapy in the UK. We believe that this popularity is based on our reputation for providing education within a supportive and nurturing environment, which not only develops the individual, but produces first class physiotherapists.

Nottingham University is also a thriving research environment for students. In the Division of Physiotherapy Education, our research aims to increase knowledge about the efficacy of physiotherapy interventions for people with neurological and musculoskeletal conditions and to increase understanding of the causes and characteristics of their movement deficits.
Students on pre-registration physiotherapy courses (funded by the NHS and leading to registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council) will usually have their tuition fees paid in full and receive financial support in the form of a bursary and access to a student loan.
The Department of Health has indicated that a new package of financial support will take effect from September 2012 and only apply to students who begin training on or after this date.
Students will receive a small non-means tested grant of £1,000, a means tested bursary of up to £4,395 and a reduced rate non-means tested loan of up to £2,324. Different rates of means tested bursary and loan will apply according to where a student lives or studies.

APPLE TECHNOLOGY IN AMERICA

APPLE TECHNOLOGY IN AMERICA:

The world is full of ambiguities. Apple too has entered this category. What does this word remind you of? Well, due to the schematic setup that has been drilled inside our brains from birth, the dominant image is that of a fruit. This is a unanimous response. But the ‘is’ has now become ‘was’ at the least in modernized nations, specifically America. Apple for them is not a fruit but a magical company of advanced gadgets. The new generation feeds on these gadgets. The brand name of Apple has now extended its range across the globe.
Apple is a company that surpasses beyond excellence in the manufacturing of technological gadgets. The company is also basking in glory of its remarkable and efficient computers. This is one of the reasons behind the rise in the personal computer market. Apple company pioneered way in creating eye brow raising products. The revolution in the technological world has been triggered by this company. Ipods, Iphones of different generations, outcome of the efforts made by this company, are challenges for its peer competitors. Samsung galaxy tab and Android smart phones were lagging behind in the rat race. Apple caused them to enter the scene. Already raising the bar, this company has enabled its peer competitors to introduce such products. Smart phones and I-pads of different companies are the order of the day. Everyday a company launches its product, while Apple updates its existing ones, overturning the lives of consumers every second.
The inception of Apple company dates back to the year 1976. Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs dropped out of college with the aim of setting up their own company. Wozniak initiated by paving the way for free long distance phone calls. This was an achievement in those times where telephones were considered a luxury.

The second remarkable invention of Wozniak was Apple computer 1 which is structurally and operationally different from its successors.

They sold their calculators and van to gather money for their company. The earlier two successful inventions caused them to introduce inventions catering to a bigger market. Devoted college students were hired for this purpose. In a period of two years, success surrendered itself to Apple.

Apple now stands as the largest market in America. It has a variety to offer in computers and undoubtedly vast sophisticated gadgets.
